Yesterday I had my Poetry class, and the prof is a very skinny (gay?) guy with emo glasses. He's quite funny, actually. I don't like big first-year classes, I prefer classes with about 50 people in them, but it's okay, I guess. He asked people to write a poem in the style of the one were talking about and some guy volunteered to read his, and it was about Mr. T. It was pretty funny.
I worked last night and it was sooooo dead. Even my manager had no jobs for me to do, so she made me do the most trivial things. It was really boring.
I talked to my manager about this summer - because I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I really like my job at Scholar's Choice, and I don't want to lose it come September. She told me that she can't give me a leave of absence for the summer, so I can't go and work full-time somewhere and then come back. So that leaves me with either quitting and finding work in September, or keeping my job at Scholar's and picking up another part/semi-full-time job and working 2 jobs this summer. I think I'm leaning towards the 2 jobs, but I've e-mailed my mom to see what she thinks. I hate thinking about summer in January, but what else can I do?
Speaking of January, it's finally winter! Last night when I came home from work, it was snowing the only kind of snow I like - the kind that sticks to your eyelashes and you can catch on your tongue. About time, mother nature, about time.
ETA: I've been waiting for Gwen's new video for 'The Sweet Escape', 'cause it's my favourite track off that album, but the video finally came out and.. it stinks. I don't like it at all. It's waaaaaaay too over-the-top, and her hair is awful in it. >_
