too good to be true
i spent the day with two of my most favorite people - nicholas and jarrod. ahhh. how i enjoy the company of those two, especially at the same time. today we went out to lunch and then shopping and then, like the good old days, we went and played in the woods. we played on the quad and dirt bike for a couple hours. gosh - i have yet to find something more exhilerating than riding around through the woods on the quad. the air rushing against your skin and the dust trails you leave behind, the almost falling off's and the "oh god, don't kill us" shouts. i giggled today, like a small child in love with life. i think i fell in love with life again today.
tomorrow we celebrate good times and great people. tomorrow we salute the courage and dedication of those great people. tomorrow we throw a going away party like no one's seen before. sadly enough, tomorrow holds a bittersweet goodbye. goodbye to jarrod. no, wait, i take that back. tomorrow holds a see ya later. see ya later jarrod. my buddy is moving to florida for school. he's heading down to get settled in and start his new life. tomorrow i bid farewell, we too shall meet again.
tonight i head out to meet my replacement. nicholas has replaced me with another girl - jessie. ha. jessie. that's what nicholas calls me. the only person i let call me jessie. i have officially been replaced. please join me in a moment of silence.
