Element of Applejack
A new year, another round of My Little Pony holidays and an excuse to eat cake. Any excuse to eat cake is a good excuse. Usually the excuse is "it's Friday, someone must have had a birthday or anniversary in the last 7 days, give or take a few?". That means cake every Friday. But this Element of Harmony day fell on a Monday, so I went to work on my day off.
I managed to collect a small herd of Applejacks to give away. Missing this time were any brushable figures and any normal blind bags, but I did get that giant Funrise plush. At half price. I didn't have enough get up and go to decorate a cake with anything more than a cake topper figurine, "Harmony Day Honesty" inscribed in chocolate on a ribbon, and a couple of other cake topper things. I've found that I can convert my coloured sugar into coloured icing sugar by grinding it for two minutes in a coffee grinder with a few quarter teaspoons of cornstarch. Eventually I'll make pony-shaped stencils and use the powdered sugars.
