(no subject)
So I met with my chemistry teacher today. In order for me to pass the class with a 2.0, including the five extra credit points for the Red Sox winning the series I need to get a 128 out of 150. I think I can do it...but holy shit am I scared. I really need to get the 2.0, I don't mind if I have to take chemistry at the UW again because of a 2.0 but I'd really like to not have to take it over again or take four classes at SCCC next quarter, especially when one of them is a class I struggle in.
D&D tonight. And then I guess some sort of social gathering after that with underage drinking? Good times for certain.
I have found the computer everyone uses to check their Livejouranl at when visiting the SCCC library. It's kind of weird, everytime I use it to check my livejournal as I'm typing out livejournal.com the address bar will pop up with lists of similar links. I have found Andrew using it, and some guy I don't know but who is friends with my image macro homeboy Derek.
I'm glad things seem to be going well for my friends. Or at least are better than they were.
My creative writing teacher actually liked my samurai short story, as opposed to my zombie story which it seemed he despised. Though I think he must either skip pages or miss certain clues I leave in the story. Because he always has a "what?" For example in the zombie story, I didn't want to come right out and say ZOMBIE! so I described it like a puppet, not moving naturally and such. I'm sure I could have done a better job but he just said, "why not use zombie?" He did pick up with my new story that I based it off a fairy tale and he even got the correct fairy tale which made me happy since no one else did.
I really can't wait for this quarter to be over.
Saturday will be a busy day, do all my humanities work, my creative writing backwork, my college application personal statement (Let me in you fuckers.) and some driving practice. I hope to accomplish at least one of these things. So in order to do this, and to insure that I'll actually study for all the different stuff I have going, I'm disconnecting all gaming consoles and actually restricting myself on computer time.
Now I will go shower and style my hair so as to not look like a complete tool.
