In Minas Tirith and receives an alarming message, sent by Eomer. His heart goes cold and he knows what is amiss. Within an hour, he is armoured and packed, readying his horse, and preparing to travel to Edoras, eyes lit up with rage and purpose.
((I checked my friends page and since no one really seems to have jumped in...Let me know if Ive screwed up somehow and I'll delete it))
She paced the halls, feeling a vague uneasyness in the air. Something was coming, but there was nothing Eowyn could do to prevent it, to stop whatever was going on from hurting those she cared about. Stopping by Alcawyn's room, she pushed the door open slightly and peeked in, to make sure that her neice was at least alright.
The light from her candle flickered on the girl's face and just as Eowyn was about to leave she noticed the mark, and a feeling of dred overtook her. Reasonably sure that Alcawyn was at least safe for the next five minutes or so, she did what any reasonable sheildmaiden would do next...ran for Eomer.
Repeatedly pounding on his door she waited anxiously for someone to open up. hurry Eomer, we need you. Your daughter needs you she silently urged as she continued pounding.

If Eowyn had been anybody other than, well, Eowyn, she probably would have been knocked over when her brother burst out into the hallway, wild-eyed and brandishing his sword. "What? Who? Wynnie? This'd better not be a jo...it's not, is it? Is she back? Where...?!"
He went sheet-white when his sister's eyes slid involuntarily over towards Alcawyn's room. In a moment he was past her and through the door, gathering his daughter up and shaking her awake. "Oh Bema...she was here, wasn't she? Right under our noses. She touched her. I shouldn't have let her sleep alone..."
Over Alcawyn's drowsy protests, Eomer sheathed his sword and scooped her up in his arms as if she was still a baby. "Wynnie, grab her blankets and pillow for me. I'm taking her to the common room to check her over. She'll be staying there, where we can all keep an eye on her.
"And...thank you. I know we don't usually get along, and that's fine, but for this...thank you."
