[ Ill tidings tempered with some relief -- Valeria thinks she should have expected the former following the fae's widespread mischief and while the latter is a definite blessing, that doesn't make it any less easy to grapple with them. She had never been particularly close to Myhrta, but she had been thankful for what care the woman had shown her and others and while she's aware Takano is qualified to take up the woman's post, she can't help but think the village will feel Myhrta's loss in the coming months. If not for her company, her steady hand, and the extent of her healing ability, then certainly for her ability to commune with nature. Regardless, the black suited woman reins her thoughts and emotions in and activates a video feed in turn, her expression calm and controlled despite the mix of emotions lurking quietly beneath the surface. ]

Miss Takano. [ She inclines her head head slightly forward. ] I have somewhat similar magic. It's decent now, but I should gain the ability to do more with practice. I can also stack the effects, so if you find yourself in need of a more immediately effective means of healing, I hope you won't hesitate to call on me.

[ Oh.. this face makes Takano think of something else, something she spotted on the network during the previous week and was quite determined to remember to tease her later with. So her lips can't help but curl up into a smile even more. ]

The help would very much be appreciated.. Any healing magic of any level would be helpful, considering my own expertise in that field is virtually non-existant.

[ Okay, she can't hold this back any longer now though. She giggles. ] Won't you be too busy with your.. ah.. 'dreamy boyfriend' though?

[ Should have expected that. She should have seen it coming from a mile away, but she didn't and her initial expression reflects this. She manages to rein it in; though, the red tinge doesn't quite leave her cheeks. Gods, she had been hoping no one else would bring that up, but Takano has and there's no dodging it, so she takes a quiet breath and -- ]

Miss Takano, please. I was a child. [ A very serious child at the time of that announcement, but Takano doesn't need to know that. Heck, no one does and -- ] At any rate, I don't have a boyfriend, so it shouldn't be a problem. [ A beat. ] Not that it would be if I did have a boyfriend. I am perfectly capable of managing my time.

[ And that's exactly the kind of reaction she was going for. She feels like giggling more, a lot more, but manages to surpress most of it for now. She needs to keep up this moment for a little more, after all, this is the best kind of amusement. ]

Don't look too much into it, it was just a little joke.. I have to say you were quite serious about the whole matter.

[ She can just sense how the other woman is trying to tiptoe around the issue, and it only eggs her on more, really. For a moment she's just silent, perhaps letting Valeria think she's won this for now, but nope. ]

People say a lot of things, Miss Takano, and many of them are better left unsaid. [ And for a number of reasons, but those go left unsaid for the moment as well. ]
