( WARNING: gore and heavy child abuse. Especially the latter is very prominent in this dream, so please proceed with caution if that sort of thing is a trigger for you. )
GODRIKA WILL END YOUR SUFFERING!!!!!!!!!!!! btw i almost forgot about this i'm so sorry :CmiracleflowerJuly 30 2011, 02:31:31 UTC
[ Oddly, this time around, Rika didn't show up armed with her ceremonial hoe. But instead, she's wearing her shrine maiden attire, consisting of a red hakama and white haori. White symbolized purity in Shintoism... and Rika stood out like a clean, sacred figure in the filthy orphanage.
One dream after another. She found herself standing before an unfamiliar girl about the same age as her curled up on the floor before. The apologies remind her of those pleading for Oyashiro-sama's forgiveness.
Rika slowly extends her hand, placing it gently on the girl's head. ]
being miyoko is no longer suffering.. and it's fine, bby!! ;u;ungodliestJuly 30 2011, 13:00:02 UTC
[ Her first instinct is to wince a little - it reminds her of her father's headpats, in a way, but it more recently reminds her of the way the men here in this place had been treating her, and it's enough to think that he might finally have decided to come after her.
But when she opens her eyes, she notices that the hand doesn't belong to one of the men who were there earlier, but instead a girl with long flowing hair and perfectly clean shrine maiden clothes..
... She isn't sure why this other girl was suddenly here. The tears are still slightly in her eyes, but her look slowly turns to more one of surprise as she speaks up. Miyoko's voice is still a little bit raw and scared. ]
[ Well, it is a girl her age, like most of the children in the orphanage, even if she's dressed much differently. And when she's patting her head like that.. For some reason she can't bring herself to have any suspicions towards the other girl.
Perhaps instead.. this is the turnaround of her fate that she bargained off God. ]
M-my name is Miyoko.. Tanashi Miyoko. [ She still looks a little scared though, maybe because of the situation from before. ] Are you here.. to help me..?
[ The whole setting almost unnerves Rika, mostly because she's unfamiliar with it. Yet she manages to put on a brave front for Miyoko. No way is she's going to allow themselves to be trapped in this sort of place.
She nods her head. ]
Yes. Good children don't belong in a place like this.
[ It comforts her, that smile, if not just a little. And at the last bit her eyes go a bit wide.. Is this her salvation - finally - after all this time? ]
... Good children..? [ She looks up at the other girl. ] D-do you think I'm a good kid..?
[ It's almost strange to hear that, after all the insults and punishments in the orphanage. ]
[ She strokes Miyoko's hair once more before pulling her hand away. She nods her head. ] I'm certain you are. Do you not think so? Even good children can do foolish things sometimes.
[ Was her parents dying her own fault? Was getting stuck in the orphanage her own fault? Did she really deserve that punishment? ... No, it wasn't her fault that fate had been giving her bad dice rolls. And she was going to turn it around. ]
... I ran away, but that wasn't a bad thing at all.. I wanted to get out of here like everyone else.
[ She gives her surroundings a brief glance around. ] I can't blame you for that. No one should be trapped in a horrible place like this. No child should be treated so cruelly.
Mii. [ She smiles again, nodding. Even if she doesn't know where to go, she'll search around for a way out. ] ...I believe that's why I am here. I can't idly sit by and do nothing.
