I'm learning how to read the tarot! :D It's fuuuun. I'm not very good visually interpreting shit, but I think I'm getting better at this. So, ask me questions! I'll throw the cards around and let you know the answers ( Read more... )

To be honest, the cards are a bit confusing. I had to throw them again because the first time I couldn't get anything! And the second time it wasn't that clear either. So please don't take this too seriously.

It seems that you've got the skills and you could take advantage of your current situation to write. However, you're not going to do it. You'll be a bit lost when it comes to your writing, to your creativity, making rush decisions, and that will frustrate you and your writing. That frustration and lack of accomplishment is going to cause you pain. You can find a solution to that, but it won't be that easy, it will take time. I also see the influence of an older woman? A wise, intelligent lady, likely to be divorced or a widow, who's an authority figure (a mother, a boss, maybe a teacher). So maybe in listening to their advice lies the solution. :P

...I'm terrible at this. I took a picture of the cards and I'll show it to my teacher on Saturday, to see what she can make of them, because I'm more than confused. o_O

*laughing so hard* Don't worry. You have it pretty much dead to rights, especially the first part ("have talent, but making it work is going to take a lot of work.") I know a lot of wise people, but I don't know who would play the role of mentor here, though. Hmmmm.

ETA: The more I think about it, the more I'm amazed at how close to the current situation you got. I haven't been writing in AGES for the same reasons you mentioned!

It seems that the problem is that you don't know where you're going creatively or that you don't know what you wanna write, and so you make rushed decisions that don't satisfy you and things don't come out as good as you expect them to; or you do know, but you give up on them very quickly and the frustration and pain comes from there. About the woman, I don't know, it could be that she helps (since it's a good card), but it might also be that she gets in your way. This is why I need to ask my teacher. :P
