Two things. Actually, three. No, make that four.
First, Martin Freeman and Sherlock won BAFTAs!!! Whooooo!!! I'm ridiculously excited. I wished Benedict Cumberbatch had won, too, but well, no one can't have it all, right? :) Even so, it's wonderful, two out of three, and wow... :) I'm just lost in fangirl glee and find it difficult to concentrate on my thesis.
The second thing is that my sister's home for a couple of weeks... one of which has already passed, but we've been having fun together. Yesterday we had a barbecue, all the family got together, and it was great fun. :) I ate like the world was gonna end, and well, some people said it was, didn't they? It's a good way to go, I guess, with your belly full of beer and meat and quesadillas and other delicious things. And in the company of your beloved ones. Anywaaaaay, moving on, today my sister read of my excitement about the BAFTAs and Benedict Cumberbatch joining the cast of The Hobbit on Facebook, and told me "Hey, let's watch Sherlock!" So we did, we watched the first episode and she loved it. She was like, "Oh, wow, it's really great!" and I was like, "I told you so, bitch." XD
And the third thing I'm excited about is that Benedict Cumberbatch joined the cast of The Hobbit. Apparently Martin Freeman let it slip, heh, I love him for that, but they didn't reveal any details. Even so, it's so great! Maybe he'll be Radagast? Who's playing Radagast? I'm not aware of how The Hobbit's going. I was so, so sad when Guillermo del Toro had to step away because he got tired of waiting for the MGM to give them moneys. :( SO SAD!! Then I got really happy that Martin Freeman's playing Bilbo, he's perfect for the role... and then, well, now that Benedict Cumberbatch's joined the cast, I'm all bliss! Who will he playing? Maybe an elf? OMG MAYBE THRANDUIL?! That would be both cool, but I can't help but laughing at the thought of him with long, straight blond hair, or playing Orlando Bloom's daddy, heh! Maybe Smaug? Well, I don't know, what I know is that I must re-read The Hobbit, this time try to do it in English, so I remember all the characters and then I go back to being a Tolkien fangirl for at least until 2013. Oh, and Stephen Fry's there, too!!
The fourth thing I wanna celebrate is
javiera becoming a Community fan! YAY!!!! The more, the merrier. I'm not really into the fandom, aside from what I catch via
engelen, but I might begin writing fics if there's the chance of two of my friends reading them. :)
Anyway, I should probably go. I need to wake up early tomorrow to go swimming and then to work, and I need to read some stuff for my thesis. That's coming out all right, you know? I think I'll manage to finish it before 2012. That's my goal!
