[[ooc: Comment log it is, then~]]
[And so, Baiken gathered up her weapons, silently thankful for having gotten herself some bindings just in time for another sparring match. This time, things wouldn't end on a horribly embarrassing note. She fully meant to come out the victor in this, though it would be interesting to see how much of a fight this Kanda kid could put up.
The walk to the playhouse was a cold one, though luckily not as cold as the weather had been. Unluckily, this meant conditions would be slipperier, and she'd have to be extra careful. Baiken grumbled under her breath bitterly, cursing Discedo and how it just loved to fuck everything up.
Lone eye peeled to keep a lookout for her opponent, the woman slipped into the abandoned building.]

[Kanda decided the car garage was good enough to use as training ground, and he'd been there on his own before, when the forest and having to defend himself against pupcats was too much of a distraction.
He propped himself against the wall a bit into the building, visible for the trained eye, otherwise probably would go unnoticable. He wasn't about to make himself a living target in case the monsters ventured into the town as well. It had happened.

[The perk of having only the one eye meant that it had adapted over the years for picking up the slack its missing twin had left behind. It adjusted to the dim light quickly and Baiken had no trouble finding the boy. She walked up close enough that she was within speaking distance, hand on her katana hilt.
At least this kid didn't seem like the type to waste much time. She'd probably be able to draw without any small talk bull.]

[Kanda noticed her approaching from the entrance, and waited patiently until she stopped in front of him. If he saw the lack of a second eye, he did not comment on it, but instead pushed away from the wall he was leaning on, right hand gripping Mugen at the side]

That'd be me.
[A slight smirk slipped onto her face as she fell into a defensive stance. This kid clearly had the right idea, already going for his weapon. There wasn't any need for chit-chat.

Good.]
Better keep it serious, boy.

[Kanda sent her a perhaps humoured look, but he didn't smile, while drawing mugen in one swift movement]
Let's get started.
