I have always been the odd ball. My sister has his spirit for activism & steven has his looks and his easy going nature. I remember at Bruce's funeral when Marvin told me that both elyse and steven had cousin bobby in them, but i was left without a trace. It felt nice to hear cynthia tell me that i looked like my father after almost 19 years of people telling me that i don't.
the little-big house on the river with a teensy backyard and dock acquipped with boats and blow-up toys made me feel so far from home even though i wished i was the one living there. the three shenkman kids were separated from all the other breslau relatives. we thought and discussed why we were there; we aren't related to the majority of these people.
back at our historically run-down mo-hotel there was nothing to be done. the hard mattresses made finding a comfortable spot an adventure you wish would end. the cramped bathroom forced you to locate half your body in the shower while trying to sit comfortably on the toilet. the high ceiling and expensive television seemed too extravagent for the room. we should have been in mississippi instead of jersey. next year we'll be in texas.
