It's an issue that concerns quite a few people. Depending on his choices, Cloud Strife will be the person to either save the world or destroy it.

You've already caused a rift between him and his allies. Did you know one of them threatened to kill him for putting you, an innocent civilian, in danger?

This world or the one he'll return home to. Either way, he has a destiny.

Because the Cloud Strife they know would never be selfish enough to put his feelings ahead of the greater good. He wouldn't put one person ahead of the safety of many, and he would sacrifice himself before endangering an innocent.

They think he's changed from the person they knew. One has to wonder what brought it about.
