OK! got to the venue at about 2. so yes. we waited with other people for 4 hours.
annnnnd we got inside all right. My Chemical Romance was.....not bad. They're pretty great to mosh to.
during intermission we tried to go to the front, but everyone else was doing that. it got so badly congested that i started hyperventilating. and then this guy out of nowhere was like "you wanna make out?!" but of course, i explained that i was dying. so he got my out of there in a flash and got me some water. i broke off completely from my group and that guy, so i was on my own for the entirety of green day. who gives a crap?!?! i kinda hung out on the side the whole time to avoid the mosh pits. my moshing time was over. i wanted to enjoy the show.
the big pink bunny came out at the end of intermission and danced around while the Ramones played over the loud speaker thingy. the bunny then chugged a few beers. i love that guy.

Jesus of Suburbia - pretty sweet, but Billie kinda changed keys during Tales from Another Broken Home. sheesh.
Holiday - MY MOMENT OF FAAAAAAAAAAAAME! I decided it would be fun to go crowd surfing to such an exuberant song. So i did! I flew into the air a few times and nearly fell on the ground after i fell on people's heads, but they got me back up. when i got back up, i saw how far away Billie was and then i was like WAAAA! next thing i know, Billie yells "LIGHTS OUT!" the lights went out and he whipped out a mini spotlight and shined it on MEEEEEEEEEEE. and then all of a sudden I'm hauled over the railing by a security guard, putting me even CLOSER to the stage. wibnrlwnelgow. so i looked up at billie and he's like FIVE feet away. oh. my. god. so...i take the walk around the crowd and settle back where i was...this song will never be the same to me again. Billie did lots of MADISONNN!!!!!! yelling. it got old as a matter of fact.
Are We the Waiting - THAT'S what it's called, Billie. NOT ST. JIMMY! Pretty much a song where the whole crowd was singing. As usual.
St. Jimmy - Why don't I remember anything from this???
Longview - Billie in devil horns? Can't get much better than that. it was too cute. One of the two best performed songs of the night. it was unfuckingbelievable
Hitchin' a Ride - MY FAVORITE SONG WAS 10 MINUTES LONG!!!!!! It was soooooo fun. so much happened. both sides of the crowd had booing and cheering contests. and yes, my side won. by far. ALSO billie made us do the 1,2,1234 thing soooo many times. and there was more MADISONNN!!! stuff. then we did a very fun "holla back" session. it consisted of many "WAAAAAAAYOOOOOOO!" things going back and forth between billie and us. eventually he started moaning so we moaned back.....and then it got orgasmic.....and yes. the hand went down his pants and he masturbated in front of the world. that was FUNNY. billie got around to shooting a super soaker on the audience. YAAAY Then! some kid was invited on the stage to shoot it. and billie ended up making out with him. then they went on with the song and it ended eventually.
brain stew - better than the recording, no doubt about it. one of the best songs of the night.
jaded - mmmmm...SEAMLESS TRANSITION!!!! so so so so so so so so SO! fun!!! mosh time for Emma.
knowledge - hey billie? yeah, you were supposed to pick ME to play bass, not that hot kid that was up there. the kid that played guitar got to keep his and it was so COOL! black and white checkered? can't get better than that.
basket case - not much to say about it. but it was sweet.

shout - yay for ska!! this was also very fun. went on for quite a while with more "WAAAAYOOOO!"s and screaming contests.

wake me up when september ends - this was absolutely gorgeous. i was the emo kid in the audience while i cried for a while. i can't help but think of my grandpa when i listen to it. it was just so good though.
minority - i don't think i'll ever hear 6,000 people screaming "FUCK EM ALL!" ever again
end of show? of COURSE NOT!!!! we have to have an encore!
