*heavy sigh* I'm going to have to restart Oblivion. It seems I have stuffed up when leveling >_____> And also gone to do the main quest too early so I'm now stuck XDDD
I don't think you can do the main quest too early. It is in fact the very first thing they tell you to do.
But I know what you mean about levelling. Instead, if you're finding it too hard, try using the difficulty slider - its pretty much there for the non-combat options, like the enchanters and rogues, who are really awesome at stuff that won't keep them alive in a fight. It's a sandbox game, this is exactly what its designed to do.
Mmmm, true.. I think it's more I've gone too far into the quest and I can't beat something that I'm sure is meant to be easy pickings >___>
I think it was more that I stupidly chose the wrong class not realising that I should've allocated the attributes for that class (when you first choose your class it tells what you really should allocate them in, I know you don't have to but I haven't helped myself at all) I must've been thinking I had another class :/
It's alright I'm just going to restart it...easier that way xD. (mind you I also realised I had a very breakable weapon...it was a bit too late before I realised)
The solution to that last one is carry lots of weapons. Even at high levels, with high tier armour that I am an expert in, I've gone into a single fight with it at 100% and walked away with it broken. And I normally carry around something like a half dozen different blades, because of the breaking/running out of magic charge issue.
To look forward to: Skyrim doesn't have the breaking weapons!
Mmm I only had two :P that serves as a lesson for me. Buy as much as I can from the imperial city before going on the main quest XP
Good! XD It's just so expensive D< $88 at the moment in most stores *headdesk* I could get it but I've only just bought Oblivion Collectors edition so I've get to get through that first xD
Yeah. If you're starting again, literally loot EVERYTHING from the dungeon at the start, then sell it in the Imperial City, and get some decent stuff. My favourite dungeon delves were necromancer nests at mid level... each of them carrying a glass or ebony dagger, and they were really easy to kill. Kill them all and walk out with 1k worth of loot per dungeon.
Anywho... you have PLENTY to do with Oblivion, especially if you also have the Shivering Isles. <3 Shivering Isles. You can totally spread out the main quest by spending time closing Oblivion gates, too. Some of them are pretty long. I would wait until the GotY edition of Skyrim to come out before you get it. There'll be plenty of Oblivion until then. (Or get Fallout.... same thing, just in a wasteland really. Yay, Bethesda!)
Mmmm, I should've done that, sold all my loot instead of wandering into more caves without a torch looking for more loot XDDD I think I got a bit over excited and wanted to get it started XD
Tip - instead of torches, directly off the coast of Anvil is a drowned skeleton. The skeleton is wearing a glass helm which has water breathing and nighteye on it. Ridiculously helpful dungeon crawl item. See if you can find it.
