Star Wars
Across the Universe by
celeste9In the midst of her training, Luke takes Rey to several planets and shows her something of the galaxy (and his past). Lovely.
and if I were you, I would never let me go by
LizzenHe knows about Organa's daughter, of course. Princess, senator, now a confirmed traitor; famed for her ethical code and her wit. Some even remark that she is beautiful.
Now he knows that she is brave enough to face him unflinching with lies in her mouth.
The Force hums loudly as he considers that there is something impressive about her, and that it burns to know she will break under him - everyone does, after all. Vader considers Leia during their various encounters. *high pitched squeeing noises*
been living a lonely life by
celeste9Finn thinks if all three of them ever got to be in the same space together at the same time, they might have something. Adorably matter-of-fact Finn/Rey/Poe.
Bodhi's Stars by
Vera_DragonMuse"I believe in that," he gestured to it all. "That it will all still be here. Forever."
"The light of those stars may already be dead," Galen turned to him, hooded eyes burning cold. "What about civilizations? What about all of us? What will the Empire make of us?"
He sucked in a breath, the factory crumbled and a faceless entity never even apologized. Three thousands souls that breathed in and never breathed out again with no more fanfare than a tiny broken piston.
"I don't know," he said again, but this time he met Galen's eyes. "But I don't want to help make it happen anymore." Tender, heartbreaking look at Bodhi.
The Borderlines We Drew Between Us by
celeste9Poe pines obliviously until Finn and Rey finally clue him in. Lovely.
Death in the Time of the Empire by
DeputychairmanHe tried not to dwell on it later, but a man has to look his own choices in the eye. You can't pretend when you take a life, especially not to yourself. Sharp, heartbreaking look at Cassian Andor.
Each Is But One by
MedieEveryone lives AU where Chirrut and Baze are rescued by secret Jedi. Very cute.
encircling yavin by
yunminLovely look at Wedge Antilles.
Faces by
stereobone"Do you feel it?" Chirrut asks.
The softness of his voice makes Baze shudder. He thinks that maybe he does, or maybe he wants to, for Chirrut. When Baze opens his eyes, Chirrut is very close to him. It doesn't surprise him at all when Chirrut kisses him. Baze's eyes flutter closed again, then open when Chirrut pulls away.
"Was that the Force?" Baze asks. His voice comes out cracked and heavy.
"That was me," Chirrut says, and kisses him again. Melacholy, heartbreaking Baze/Chirrut, from Baze's POV.
the fine line between recruiting and kidnapping by
Gunmetal_CrownReprogramming, making new friends, and committing high treason--K-2SO has had a strange day. Perfect little snippet about Kaytoo's reprogramming.
firefly by
peradi(Can droids die he had said to Poe and Poe had said well I suppose everything can die and BB-8 had said but what happens when -- and Pilot-Pava had said what a curious droid and BB-8 buzzed at her Poe reprogrammed me and taught me to think and and Poe's gentle hand on his shell, and droids aren't meant to be calmed by physical contact and yet -- ) *sobs* So many droid feels.
Grant Me This by
predilectionAU in which Leia is undercover as an Imperial officer, and Han is her Alliance contact. Lovely.

The General is there to comfort her. *sobs*
hope lives on by
peradiBodhi dies. This is what happens afterwards. Or: Bodhi becomes the patron saint of the Resistance. *sniffle*

Leia Organa: A Critical Obituary - you're always being judged by Malcolm Sheppard
Leia Organa, the politician and revolutionary who led the defeat of the Galactic Empire, died after a short illness. She was 60 years old. Hers was a life laced with controversy concerning everything from her tactics to her very ancestry, but her intelligence, commitment to the Republican cause, and place at the heart of the Rebellion, and later the Resistance against Neo-Imperialism, remains the indisputable core of her legacy.
let your good heart lead you home by

Obi-Wan and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad (Life) Day by
wreckageofstarsObi-Wan's birthdays tend to be terrible, and this one is no exception. Funny and melancholy.

They Have Taken Photographs of Our Footprints in the Dust by
dharmaavocado"Hush," Chirrut murmured against his mouth.
"I am not the one talking."
"I can hear your thoughts." Chirrut's fingers slipped beneath his collar. "Be here with me."
"When have I ever been anywhere else?" Baze asked, and kissed the answer from Chirrut's mouth. Chirrut likes to tell stories about how he and Baze got married. *sobs*
you are my single silence by
amillionsmiles"You can cut a man's legs from under him. That does not mean he kneels," contemplates Chirrut.
"Save your wisdom for a book," replies Baze.
"That's why I'm telling you. Write this down," Chirrut says imperiously, and Baze chuckles, a dry, comforting rasp in his ears.
Faith, Chirrut thinks, is a bit like sand. In small handfuls, it seems barely anything-but gather enough of it, and you could build yourself a beach, an island. A place to stand. *sobs*
