"- and said we'd set up house and be confirmed bachelors together for the rest of our lives, away from women and their cruel, mysterious ways," Bucky continues over him, waving the ring. "And here we are. Won't you marry me, Steve? Make me the happiest man in the world, say you'll be mine." Steve and Bucky continue to escalate the situation until they're going to get married that day. Hilariously funny until it punches you right in the feels. Oh boys.

Really lovely, wistful fix-it for Man Out of Time. Tony and Reed figure out a way to save Bucky without breaking the space-time continuum or requiring that Steve and Bucky live as hoboes (though they're totally willing to do the latter for each other *g*).
