That's good. The others are currently hallucinating and believe that they're in their respective home world.

Are strange happenings such as this a normal occurrence in this world?

Not exactly this, but yes.

I presume I should not hope for an answer as to why these things happen.

At the moment, no. But with any luck, we'll get answers eventually.

Perhaps it would be best not to depend on luck. If we are forced to depend on such a fickle benefactor, I do not hold much hope for answers to our quetions.

Believe me, I haven't been waiting for answers to fall into our laps, if that's what you're trying to say. We've discovered a number of things about this world--the likely reason behind the current hallucinations included.

A week ago, if you recall, there was a unknown voice promising to bring some people to their world.

[Pause.]

And the people acting as though they have taken leave of their senses are simply being made to believe they are in their home worlds. Is that correct?

From what we can tell, yes. They also don't recognize you if you met them in this world, it seems.

[Another pause]

Doctor Naomi Hunter and I are at her lab, in the Government District. Feel free to head over there. We're both still sane, at least.

Are you aware of any ways to successfully stop these...'hallucinations'? I had some success convincing a young woman that I was not one of the 'sorry stricken', but I do hope there is a more reliable method.

[He pauses also.]

None that I know of. However, I've only run into one of the affected, personally, so I might not be the best person to ask that.

It's Doctor Hunter's hospitality, really.
