I finally saw one of those crab creatures people have been talking about, though fortunately it was outside, and I was inside looking out of a third-story window.
It's disturbing to think that such animals have managed to evolve here. That is, of course, assuming they are normal animals and this isn't, say, Hell. I wonder if the scientific method would even be able to distinguish between the two possibilities.
