What's got you so down, shorty?

[Yeah, that's right tease him, it'll make him feel tons better...]

[He doesn't need to look to know it's Greed, but he lifts his head a little anyway. He's definitely glaring, but it seems like he's not really trying -- he just looks tired.]

[Greed smirks. So Fullmetal wanted a fight, eh? He could use one himself.]

Like you could reach it.

[Ed sure as hell wouldn't mind a good fight and that remark was just enough incentive. He cracks his knuckles, stubborn determination in his eyes. A nice change from the half assed glare.]

I wouldn't be so sure about that! [ROUND 1 START. Ed pushes off of the ground hard, pulling his arm back and clenching his fist as he launches himself toward Greed. His target? Greed's smug face.]

[Bait taken. Greed smirks and uses a kick to stop Ed from reaching him.]

[Ed dodges the kick with ease, sweeping to the side and taking a step back. He hasn't had a good fight in a long time, but he was far from rusty.]

Don't need it. [He smirks, clapping his hands together and pressing them on the ground, sending a wave of rock hurtling towards the homunculus] How's that Ultimate Shield workin' out for you?

[Despite trying to dodge, Greed still takes the blow to his shoulder and grimaces.]

I don't need my shield to pound down a little thing like you.

[He's running toward Ed, getting ready to throw a punch at the alchemist.]

[He grits his teeth and dashes towards Greed, meeting him halfway. He twists in an attempt to dodge the punch, but it lands soundly, crashing into his shoulder. Ed breathes in sharply. That definitely stung, but it gave him enough momentum to swing around and attempt to land a kick.]

I'LL SHOW YOU LITTLE, DAMN IT.

[Greed smirks as he lands the punch. The kick lands on his side and he grunts.]

Heh, that's the Fullmetal I know.

[He doesn't respond to that because as soon as that first kick landed he spun around, swinging his other leg up to knock him back a few feet.]

[He catches his leg and shoves him back.]

[Ed stumbles backwards, hopping on one foot for a second before falling flat on his ass. Way to go, Ed. Way to go. He pushes himself up, leaning on his hands.]
