Dream. Again.

He brought the gun to his head and pulled the trigger, voices instantly filling the silent area.

"We stand up for what we think is right, okay?" The man before him smiled and they touched fists, sealing the informal agreement. "That's what our power's for."

The area quieted again, and he looked down at the gun in his hand. The silence was almost painful. As though to circumvent this, he brought the gun back up, shooting himself in the temple once more.

He could hear the man's voice again. "I don't think you should join." A woman spoke as well.

"You can't control Castor well enough. We can't take that risk."

As though to spite their voices, he pulled the trigger again as soon as the silence had approached again. There were no words this time, only the sounds of someone screaming- a child? Agonizing, crying, screaming for comfort.

Another gunshot.

His own voice this time: "Castor has no weaknesses. In order for a Persona to have weaknesses, the Persona user has to have weaknesses. And I don't." And yet there was the noise of foil cracking and he easily downed two pills.

Bang. He shot himself again.

"You haven't been taking them, have you?" The man was accusing, angry.

Bang.

"You know the reason! Ten years ago! My sister! The fire!" A dull cracking noise as the man hit him on the jaw.

Bang.

"I can't go back." He was speaking again, irritated. "Not after what happened." More foil cracking.

Bang. One last gunshot and the man spoke again. "...And the side effects?"

He let out a dismissive noise. "I have something I need to take care of. Don't worry about me."
