Writer's Block: Celebrity Hits & Misses
My favorite celebrity is probably Johnny Depp, and no I am not one who has only jumped on the Jack Sparrow bandwagon. I was a fan of his pre, during, and post Jack Sparrow. I also have not only jumped on the "OMGZORS HAWT!" bandwagon. I'm actually a fan because he's marvelously talented and picks fantastic roles. (P.S. If anyone cares, the Sweeney Todd trailer is out)
As for a celebrity I never want to see again, there are a few.
Lindsay Lohan - Honey, you made fine movies when you were a kid (I still enjoy The Parent Trap) and good ones early in your teenager years (Mean Girls, Prairie Home Companion, etc) but then you become a coke head and an alcoholic and frankly, I'm tired of seeing you everywhere.
Nicolas Cage - Please stop. Just stop. Remakes are really not a good idea, particularly starring you. Frankly, the best thing you've done in your life is introduce Johnny Depp to Hollywood. I like National Treasure, but that's more for the history and Philadelphia stuff than for the you stuff.
Britney Spears - This is kind of a combination of the last two. You were fab when pop music was in, but darling, pop music has changed since your heyday and so have you.
