So tonight was supposed to be a nice quiet night: dinner and a movie with Paige and home by 10 for a good night's sleep. We went to Panera for bread bowls as per usual. But, oh wait, they ran out of bread bowls. So she got one and mine was in a regular bowl. But they gave me extra bread. We drove around the mall a bit looking for parking and when I finally found a spot, it was such a small spot that to get out, I had to climb over Paige's side and get out that way. Then it was time for Meet the Robinsons. The movie was super cute! There were so many Disney theme park references and we were pretty much the only ones who got most of them. I'd totally see it again, I really liked it. Then we walk out to my car, I hit the unlock button and nothing happens. Hit it repeatedly, still nothing. Unlock the door manually. Key in ignition. Nothing. Turn. Turn. Turn. Nothing. Call Honda, order us a jumpstart, get in the car and lock ourselves in. Old man in a tow truck comes and gives us a jump. We still got home early, and it was actually a fun end to the night, but it wasn't how I was expecting the night to end. It was because, when I climbed over the seat to get out I didn't open my door so my car didn't yell at me to turn off my lights. It was one of those things where it'd been too cloudy to not have them on, but not dark enough to see them or pay any notice to them. So my lights stayed on for the whole movie and the battery went bye bye. I just have to keep an eye on it for awhile and Pub Safe can jump me here if I need it, so it's all good. And I got a good spot, so it'll be easy to watch it. I'm supposed to run it for awhile tomorrow, so I think I'll go get my breakfast/lunch at Tailgate like I do on Saturdays and then sit and eat it in my car while it runs. That should about do it.
Also, Becky is wonderful and will be using my mom's ticket for The Producers, which will be great because I'll get to see her again (how long has it been?) and it'll be somebody who'll actually appreciate the show.
So tonight was fun, and everybody should go see Meet the Robinsons. And Mark needs to stop being perplexing. Also, since Margaret, Abbey, Sam and I sat around for two hours the other night telling jokes, I'm asking everybody who reads this to respond with all the jokes you know. Or just the best ones. Feel free for them to be as offensive or as dirty or as stupid or as clean as you want.
