So...I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, without getting the chance to transfer ANY of it to paper, plastic.
First things first, the spring semester has definitely been a harsh adjustment so far. I thought it would be the sweetest thing to have earlier classes. You'd assume- more time to get work done, more time for yourself, more time to dedicate to a job? Figure the benefits would definitely outweigh the costs. All the same, it's difficult to achieve a lot. Whether I go to sleep at 12AM, 1AM, or 2AM, I'm always tired to the point of experiencing feelings of anger, depression. I always want to come back home and sleep so badly; except, I know if I do I won't be able to get anything I need to accomplish done. This, inevitably, has led to even more of a consumption of caffeinated beverages than previously ingested in the fall. Plus, being home in the afternoon feels lonely. Most people are in class. Sitting in your silent bedroom with no one else around, just doesn't feel right. Probably adds to the sleepiness factor. And, job? Yea, right. I'll keep trying, but honestly,...getting a job in my unskilled teenage position...ha. ha. ha. I won't even attempt to go into the details, other than the fact that money fucks way too many deserving people over. I suppose it's to the point where I'm not even completely sympathetic...because after a certain amount of time of being so, I find the feeling just turns to rage. Rage that the world is the way it is, and we are ultimately helpless to change its evil ways.
ANYWAY. NOW THAT I'VE GOTTEN THOSE EMOTIONS OUT.
Last night was fucking amazing. Fucking mind blowing and body numbing. What the fuck did I do last night?

GIRL TALK!
...
As awkward as Grand Buffet's pre-show was...ARBY'S!!! LMAO!...the main event was killer. Two straight hours of sweaty crowd-crunched, loud-till-your-ears-bleed mashup music, led by the mixin' stylist himself, Girl Talk. Among the typical club atmosphere, the event included dancing up close and personal around the surprisingly basic setup of standard beige plastic party table, complete with mix-ready laptop technology, AND a spectacle of drenched crowd surfing bliss.
We didn't really even stay until close, either...
End of story: Girl Talk's long-awaited Florida [College Town] Tour = SUCCESS
Anyone else in the state of FL have a similar Girl Talk experience???!!!
And, as for this weekend,...anything goes. Since Friday is more-or-less over, I guess I can say the most exciting part of my day was finally being able to catch up on lost sleep, and ordering delicious, life-giving pizza. Tomorrow, helping out with filming of the Miss UCF pageant....should actually be pretty fun, Mr. UCF was an experience. SUNDAY IS THE SUPERBOWL. Patriots v. Giants= the two worst behaved groups of fans in the NFL, in my humble opinion. Tragic I can't be there to witness the potential fights. But as far as watching the game goes, my plans aren't set in stone. Lame, yes. But somehow the month of February crept upon me very sneakily.
With that brings the dreaded V-day. Everyone's favorite corporate holiday.
And on that note, I think I'll leave ya.
Night livejournalians!
