Well, the Air Force meeting was a bust. I guess I missed the deadline for the AFROTC scholarship. She just wanted me to enlist right then and there. So... I guess it's all about the Navy now. Deadline for that is January 31. I met with the Navy recruiter on Thursday and he just kind of frusturated me because he couldn't answer hardly any of my questions. The guy that actually interviews people for the scholarship called me that night and he is driving all the way from Portland on Thursday to meet with me. That means I have to get all my teachers to fill out evaluations on top of the letters of recommendation. Man, I feel like such a user. I'm still worried about the physical requirements, since I didn't play any sports yet this year. Second semester I don't have a 6th period so I will probably start some sort of basic weight training and run a few days a week til I have to get picked up. It's good for me anyhow.
Kevin and I went out to dinner last night. Haley is out of town for basketball and Josh was hanging out with his buds to Kev and I decided to have a friends' night out. We ate at Hurricane Kates then got some dessert at OTCC. We ran into John and Camille so we decided to go over to Kev's and watch Superbad, which is really just Supergood.
I don't know a lot about dogs except from what I have learned 7 years of having my jack russell, but the other night Indy was sneezing over and over again, almost seizing. I thought it might be neurological or some type of resperatory infection. I was worried about him enough to sleep with him on the couch, which he isn't allowed on usually. Between giving blood on Thursday and staying up with him Friday sucked majorly. Gov test that was soo stupid, and then an AP Lit pressure comp that was literally "distorted". Everything was made better with our lunch time Hanukkah party in the band room. It was Sam, Kevin, Mitch, Adam, Brook, Egan, and I. We had a minora with 3 candles lit, bagel chips, homemade latkas with toppings, we decided to put on a Jewish Rock band Sam had on her iPod, and we played driedle with chocolate coins. Oh boy that was fun.
Well, I got roped into going to some old person's birthday party with my family today so I guess I won't go with Josh, Kavon, Marianne, and Leann to take pics. Oh well. Oh, some senior pics to come for viewing too.
Oh, and none of us are Jewish. We figured since we are all nondenominational that we can celebrate every holiday.
