"Accident Takes Life Of 18 Year Old Girl

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. -- A young Winter Springs woman was killed Friday night when the car she was driving crashed on County Road 450, just east of Umatilla in Lake County.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that 18 year old Kelly Minnix was traveling eastbound on the road when she failed to neogotiate a left turning curve.
Her car left the road, hit a sign and crossed over a concrete culvert where the car hit a pole, finally striking a large pine tree which peeled away the right front passenger side and split the right part of the 2003 Toyota.
Ms Minnix was dead at the scene.
She was not wearing a seat belt.
The FHP is still investigating the crash."
So fucking sad. RIP Kelly, you will be missed!
