You know what? The YOUR vs. YOU'RE thing really pisses me off.

Should one be able to differentiate between YOUR/YOU'RE and TO/TOO on MSN or AIM?

What does everyone think?  Is it too much to write the 're? Well then how about just adding an extra e? YOURE. That would be acceptable. And oh em gee does it just take "to" much effort to add an extra o ( Read more... )

I'm not French, infact, my French is terrible! I took it in school, and take it now in universtiy, but I write it poorly. I'm hoping to learn Spanish next, since they are in the same family.

is English ok for now?

hahaha certainly.

i started spanish this year (i'm in my last year of high school) and thus far it has been extremely easy because they are indeed in the same family. french, though, is, in my opinion, HEAPS better than spanish--cos it's more complex and it sounds prettier!! (^_^)b

i'm gonna go to bed now since it's nearly two in the mornin' here... but i'll post again later! good to talk to you!

ps: your french looks parfait to moi!! have you ever essayer-ed speaking en FRANGLAIS? c'est quite a bon time; i've gotten rather good at it over the annees! muahahahhahaa...

haha, hope you had a good sleep!

thanks for the compliment on my french. I just try and keep it simple (which my prof doesn't especially like). Franglais is one of my saving graces! I adopted an older sister (good friend) who is from Montreal and our best communication is in Franglais, as my first language is English, and her's is French. it works out well!

I really like Spanish because it doesn't sound as snobby as French. I really want to learn German because it sounds so blunt, but there are some sounds I can't even imagin trying to make!
