[Spending the day scavenging wasn't exactly fun. He didn't get too much luck save for bits of metal here or there, or broken things that might, if combined, be suitable weapons. Food was no-go. But half the time was spent investigating the highway's limits. However, the most he got there was just hearing a bunch of weird sounds in the distance.
By evening he was back to the wreckage that he figured was Goldberg Street. Knowing there was a shelter-like structure in his backyard, he decided to retreat there for the night since wandering aimlessly around and being sleep-deprived was not a good combination.
As he shoved the bits of debris above what used to be the shed in the backyard, he swore he heard more odd noises in the distance. It sounded like a great amount of vehicles. He'd peek over and try to go closer to see what it is.
If anyone is nearby, he'd ask them:] Hey, you hear that too, right? What do you think it is?
[Locked to those there (Cain Nightlord, Abel Nightroad, Diana Ethelbert and anyone else who might have managed to dive in with him)]
[Alfred is going to be taking down one of the guns from the wall now, checking to see if it was loaded up. After seeing just what was coming towards them, it would be stupid not to have one on hand.]
Alright. So there are people out there that want to have us for a midnight snack and decorate their rides with our heads.
But this doesn't mean we are beat yet. Right?!
