[Having finally gotten his flagpole up, Alfred immediately got a flag and set it up. And not a day too soon for today was Veterans' Day! And of course he would celebrate it. He didn't know if this town would hold parades or anything--he really highly doubted it-- but it didn't mean he couldn't celebrate himself.
And so, those on Goldberg Street might smell the scents of some nice barbecued foods wafting out from his backyard. Feel free to poke in! He made enough for everyone!]

Hey, guys! I'm sure you all already knew this, but today's Veterans' Day! In commemoration of every brave man and woman who has served their country, I've decided to hold an impromptu barbecue! So, come on over! I got tons of beer--let's all quaff some together!
