Seunghyun stood underneath the great weeping willow with a bouquet of flowers. He always would bring them to give to Jiyong and today was no different.

Then again, it was entirely different.

"Seunghyun!" Dami called from the rented beach house.

Seunghyun came slowly holding the flowers nervously.

"You look gorgeous, sugar. Now, you better get your ass in front or Jiyong will beat you to, and at, the altar."

Two years had changed their world dramatically. After the shooting, Jiyong had been taken to the hospital where he recovered quickly from the shot. Every day Seunghyun would bring Jiyong flowers. The very day Jiyong was released, Seunghyun had greeted him with a beautiful white gold, diamond ring.

Most people had felt sympathy for the couple after the close call but, after Jiyong had recovered, many soon changed their tone. They were ridiculed by the media. They were chided on the streets. But at the same time, something amazing happened.

Jiyong no longer feared his own emotions. He had courage to be out on stage, performing with the rest of Big Bang in front of an ever growing crowd, as they became the catalyst for the movement of a nation.

A number of loyal fans began to call for Seunghyun and Jiyong's right to marry or, Jiyong supposed, any same-sex couple's right to marry. Equal rights were being asked for right along with it. Soon, Japanese citizens began to ask their government for the same. You could say all of Asia was undergoing a dramatic change in its politics.

Of course, it wasn't simply the citizens that had gotten everything done. Governments in Europe and the Americas began to pressure nations, that gave no freedom to same-sex couples, to change their ways.

It was one and a half years later when the legislation finally made it through. They could get married and have the same rights as any other couple.

Seunghyun would have married Jiyong right then, but the younger insisted on having a beautiful wedding right at the edge of a beach. Seunghyun had smiled saying that he could wait a little longer if it made Jiyong happy.

He had watched from the sidelines as his fiancé meticulously made plans for the wedding date. Dara and Bom had gotten quite involved with the event as well. It was a small event in all honesty.

Seunghyun had no family, and his only friend before YG was Teddy. Teddy still worked for SM as far as Seunghyun knew.

Jiyong had his parents coming. Dami, of course, would come with Jiyong's brother-in-law and adorable nephew. Bom, Minzy, Dara, and Chaerin would all be cheering the couple on as well.

Yang Goon had his invite and would be there despite the fact he wanted to walk Jiyong down the aisle to hand over to Seunghyun. Jiyong had insisted he didn't feel the need to be treated like a woman, to which everyone had a laugh over.

Dongwook had quickly made sure he had his invitation after nearly killing Jiyong for not informing him of his love interest. Diplo had a flight in from Europe so he would make it. All of Nuthangs would be there.

Then, of course, Daesung, Seungri, and Youngbae, who had struggled with them from the very beginning had front row seats.

"Seunghyun," Dami called again, slightly more frustrated this time.

And this was it. The doors opened to all of his friends telling him to hurry up because Jiyong would surely be out any minute. A string quartet accompanied by Youngbae at the piano played original melodies composed by Jiyong.

Seunghyun's heart was beating like a drum by the time he was standing underneath the rose trellis. The pastor gave him a smile.

Then the music changed tone. A song both Jiyong and Seunghyun had spent hours on. Jiyong kept it off the album because he believed it needed to be used for something more important that a comeback stage. At the time Seunghyun could hardly figure out what that would be. Now, it made perfect sense.

And the doors opened again. Jiyong stood in the doorway for a moment. Seunghyun took it all in. Jiyong would always be "someone who stands out." In his lavender jacket clasped with a white belt at his waist, in his white pants, in his blue dress shoes. Jiyong, the gorgeous fashionista, was back to his blonde hair and side swept bangs because Seunghyun had mentioned he liked that era.

He smiled as Jiyong smiled up at him.

The younger took a breath and moved forward. Seunghyun could have sworn he was floating.

Seunghyun reached out his hand for Jiyong to take because every second that passed without touching his soon-to-be husband was torture. Jiyong's smaller hand slipped into his as they stood together.

You could say it was a wedding just like any other, apart from perhaps Gaho being called by Jiyong to bring the rings. They said their vows, kissed, made two lights become one.

For them, this wedding was a symbol of all the tests they had been given. Prostitution, rejections, fear, shootings, kidnappings, bombs, and facing the world. Behind it all there was love, even when they denied it, there had always been love.

They knew, that no matter what was thrown in front of them, together they would prevail because they needed each other to be complete.

And, of course, as they walked down the aisle with linked arms, they were reminded by claps and cheers that they had friends beside them who would always support them.

They had an entire world that helped this day be possible.

Jiyong was in tears by the time they both reached the beach house.

Seunghyun turned towards his husband to wipe the salty drops away with his thumb.

"We made it," Jiyong whispered as he leaned his forehead on Seunghyun's.

Seunghyun nodded. They made it.

The sun was setting on the horizon behind them. The picture window showed the bonfire that awaited along with an assortment of entrées.

"I don't want to go," Jiyong said with a hush. "I want to stay right here with you."

"I'll always be beside you."

"Can we..." Jiyong trailed off with a blush. "When we lit the candles to become one...I want to be one with you for the rest of the night."

Seunghyun pulled Jiyong closer, their rings clinked together as the entwined fingers. "Our family?"

"Seungri can tell them, he always knows," Jiyong let out a lovely laugh.

Seunghyun grinned deviously as he began to walk backwards towards the stairs. Jiyong let himself be guided to the bedroom by the man he loved.

What started as Jiyong paying extra became something that paid him back every cent and kept giving until he didn't know what to do with all his wealth. No price could be given to what they shared and they both would give up everything to keep their treasure. They treasured each other. They treasured their love.
