Title: Reflections in a Distorted Mirror
Author:
undying_desirePairing: GTOP Seunghyun/Jiyong
Rating: NC-17
Genre: U, murder-mystery, dark romantic
Summary: Gazing into a mirror is sometimes the best way to discover who you are, but behind this image may be something better off undiscovered. Kwon Jiyong, a psychology student at Sogang University, soon realizes this fact after a serial killer begins to plague Seoul and a hooded figure begins to haunt his mind. His world slowly shifts into a place where left becomes right and the truth becomes a lie. His only anchor to the world is a young man named Choi Seunghyun who, after having Jiyong as a tutor, tries to understand the troubled man.

This idea possessed me while listening to E.S Posthumus' song Kuvera and I had to run with it. If you haven't heard the song, and you enjoy orchestral music, I highly suggest you have a listen. I will also be including this song in a soundtrack for this series once it is completed. Kuvera seems to have a lot of dark undertones but at the same time gave a sense of redemption. This led me to an idea about gods and an inner struggle with personal demons that may be more than just a part of the past. This 'mirror' idea is a bit of a metaphor for reflecting in on yourself.
From the beginning, this fic going to be filled with descriptions of highly grotesque scenes. I can say right now this entire series is not going to be for the faint of heart. Nearly every chapter I have outlined so far consists of blood. -.-" I will spare no details when it comes to later murders either.
As of yet, I cannot say whether or not either of the boys will make it out alive. The genre may become a tragedy as I progress.
The language throughout this text is slightly more eloquent than my last fic. I suppose you can say it fits with a dark romantic piece quite well.
Why NC-17? Mutilation of corpses, naked bodies, language, graphic sex, blasphemy of many gods, and more blood than when the waters of Egypt ran red.
