today in english we were talking about race and such and it all seemed really hipocritical. I mean here we are at our white suburban school with one asian kid as our only representative of a minority. Then we only have teacher who decided to lead a campaign for native american indians. I dunno cause i think it is important but i dont think that that conversation was goin to go anywhere because everyone is forced to be politically correct. That and she isnt even a teacher who creates an open forum as her classroom. Instead she tries to control our thoughts like most teachers and any time we stray into a REAL conversation she has to water it down. I wish i had a teacher with some balls who would allow us to have a conversation that may offend or exclude someone but also teaches a valuble lesson. The world isnt filled with rosy topics and happiness there are problems and our teachers dont beleive we can understand them even though most of us are more intelligent than alot of them. I think im probably most pissed at the fact that Mrs Fredman is just a horrible teacher and person.
