Beautiful Wreck - Chap 2

Nov 23, 2010 18:38

Although Jaejoong was clueless to it, being the new, pretty face of GAI made him a frequent topic of conversations and appealing subject for stares among the agency’s models and staff. Not everyone was jumping in glee for him.

Kim Junsu for particular was burning inside to see this new, beautiful model Yunho had discovered. Junsu himself was probably the highest paid and most wanted model in the agency right now. He has spent close to ten year in the modeling world and even before he turned 12 he knew his destiny was to become a model.

Junsu puked the last content of his stomach in the toilet before he leaned back against the restroom stall door and took a deep breath. God all that talk he heard about how gorgeous Jaejoong was didn’t do him any justice. They are expecting Jaejoong to become the next top model in Korea. Junsu suddenly felt old and drained, a feeling he always avoid as he knew he wasn’t getting any younger and the fashion industry was constantly searching for the next big thing, the next top model. A small part of him wished for it to happen faster, for him to become another worn-out beauty. But the biggest part of him reminded him how hard he worked for this.

Junsu made his way to the sink, splashed water on his face and observed his features in the mirror. He Dark circles and bags under his eyes, more apparent lines creased his skin and a fucking pimple on his left cheek, “What the hell am I? A teenager,” Junsu shrieked while scrubbing it, praying it would disappear.

“Well, if you ask me. You’re more of a toddler.”

Junsu jumped and placed a hand on his chest. “Boa,” He exclaimed. “You fucker, you almost gave me a heart attack.”

“That’s Boa noona for you and no, I don’t care about your heart condition because you have a fucking photo shoot in 10 minutes. I spent the whole morning calling you and searching for you and you don’t even have the decency to look apologetic. Honestly, I don’t know why I try so hard when obviously you don’t give a damn. Why can’t you have a little appreciation for me? I mean, what am I to, your fucking slave?” She threw her hands in the air and glared fiercely at Junsu when she got no response.

Boa was Junsu’s manager. She was probably one of the few people who can tolerate his antics. She had short brown hair and normally dressed in unflattering, baggy clothes that made her look more like a 16-year-old boy who still hasn’t hit puberty.

Junsu just rolled his eyes, put his sunglasses on and allowed Boa to drag him, not in a gentle manner at all, out of the restroom. Junsu immediately headed to his private resting room, which Junsu had ordered them to paint its walls black because he couldn’t stand bright colors for too long.

“What the hell is this?” Junsu pointed towards some white flower inside a vase. “Didn’t you tell them about the absolutely forbidden list? What kind of people would put this thing in here?” Junsu asked in utter disbelief. He shook his head and massaged his temples before he took another look at the white flowers and started screaming in horror.

“Calm down.” Boa ordered, shielding her ears with both hands.

Teamin, a new staff member, ran into the room, wearing the usual outfit of bowtie and slacks. He took the flowers and ran away as he apologized and bowed.

Junsu plopped on a seat, looking disheveled. “How do you expect me to do my job when they’re obviously trying to destroy me?” He brought his knees up to his chest and buried his face between them.

Boa frowned as she carefully examined the room for anything else that might elicit another fit out of Junsu. “Who is trying to destroy you?”

“Everyone, can’t you see? They are ganging up against.” He answered, voice muffled against the fabric of his pants. “It must be a conspiracy. Those distasteful flower, and just this morning that new model told me to look for a job in another agency.” His head snapped towards Boa, like he just solved a mystery. “Do you think they’re planning to kick me out? Oh my god! This must be what is happening! It explains it all perfectly. Yesterday, that new staff gave me chocolate! Chocolate, can you believe that? And just now a pimple appeared on my face. A pimple! Since when do I ever get pimples?”

“Teamin! that kid is harmless, and it was pepero day, so maybe he was trying to be nice,” Boa suggested. “And normal people have pimples all the time.”

“Who would give chocolate as a nice gesture?! I’m telling you there is something suspicious.” Junsu stated frantically.

“Yes, they must have been plotting to kill you with excessive amounts of chocolate.” She rolled her eyes. “Anyway, the makeup artist and hairstylist would be here in a minute. I’m going to get me some coffee. Do you want me to get you some poison or would chocolate be a more effective method?” Junsu shot her a dirty look and Boa giggled as she exited the room.

“You’re going to regret it when you find me dead because I chocked on bloody chocolate.” He shouted after her.

Junsu reached for his Louis Vuitton bag and took out some pills. He stared intensely at them before taking two pills and reaching for the water bottle.

He continued to bitch and complain for the rest of the day, his mood swings getting more erratic and unbearable. Boa wondered if there was anything left of her good friend under all of this temper.

Three months already passed since Jaejoong had his first photo shoot. He had several other photo shoots and was feeling quite content about his new job. The paying was better than he could ever wish and it had enabled him to help his parents with the expenses and pay for his university fees. He also was glad about his makeover, if that what they call. He had grown some muscles and dyed his hair blond.

It was agonizing at times though because suddenly his sisters’ friends started visiting them every week. They would either stare fiercely at him, or corner him whenever they had the chance with awkward questions about girlfriends and underwear. He was wondering if he could be raped by an innocent-looking girl once of those days.

One week Yunho had told him that he is going to have his most important photo shoot, the one that would define his career. Jaejoong got high and excited, but he wasn’t anywhere near jumping of excitement when Yunho told him it was important because it would be with Kim Junsu.

Jaejoong didn’t know the reason behind Kim Junsu’s strange behavior towards him.  Ever since their first encounter they had met again and again and Kim Junsu has never failed to get on Jaejoong’s nerves with his conceited attitude and constant bitching. Even the fact that the mansion was big enough for them not to have to meet at all, Junsu seemed to pop out of the blue whenever Jaejoong was in a good mood and just crush it all.

Junsu glanced at the photos of Jaejoong. “It seems like the modeling world is losing its standards.” Junsu shook his head. “An amateur would have looked better, damn even my dog can pose better than this.”

At that time Jaejoong took Junsu’s words to heart, presuming that the older had far more experience and must have been telling the ugly truth. Yunho brushed Jaejoong’s uncertainty off and told him to ignore whatever comes out of Junsu’s mouth.

Once, one of the staff commented to Jaejoong in front of Junsu on how sophisticated Jaejoong looked in one of the suits he wore for a shoot. Junsu grabbed the magazine, glance at it before throwing it away. “No matter how expensive and refined the cloths you wear, they still look exceptionally cheap on you.” He sneered at Jaejoong.

The news about the Vogue photo shoot which featured JaeJoong and Junsu wearing designs from the anticipated new collection by Korea’s acclaimed top designer Shim Changmin was so hyped. Nearly everyone in the fashion world in Korea was holding their breath for this.

Jaejoong had arrived to the set early. It was actually a little after 10 at night, an awkward time to conduct a photo shoot, but no one dared to go against Changmin when he demanded that the shoot start after midnight. The set was the GAI mansion itself and the first few shoots were to be done beside one of the many pools outside at the 7th floor. The night zephyr biting against his skin, stars were sparkling and the moonlight reflected against the pool.

He sat down beside the pool and started typing his assignment on his laptop while eating blueberry yoghurt and gazed at the night sky every time he felt bored. A lanky man appeared, and Jaejoong, with the spoon still attached to his lips, stared for a good five minutes. The man’s hair was dark- purple and his costume was made of leather boots, black leather pants that hanged too low, and a white vest, which gave a peak to his carved abdomen, with a couple of necklaces dangling from his neck.

The lanky, man fixed his red glasses, like he was analyzing Jaejoong. He didn’t talk or smile. Jaejoong squirmed awkwardly and finally remembered the spoon dangling from his mouth. He tugged the spoon out, hoping he didn’t look like an idiot.

The second time Jaejoong looked up from his laptop; Kim Junsu was walking towards where he was sitting, in all of his naked glory. His shoulders weren’t wide and his waist probably the smallest Jaejoong had ever seen in a man. He was sculptured, albeit a little too thin and had many piercing: a few in his ear, one on his left eyebrow, on the right side of his lower lip, another on his nipple and his navel. Jaejoong swallowed, his eyes fluttering towards the man’s member, where the last piercing was placed.

“You like what you see, kid?” Junsu smirked. Jaejoong gaped and his brain seemed to stop because all he could think of at that moment was Kim Junsu’s naked ass.
