Jon & Kate Plus Eight....
Does anyone else love this show?! I've watched it from the very beginning. I just love these kids... their parents.. well they're not may favorite, but I don't hate them or anything. I totally understand where they're coming from. Sure Kate can be a bit tyrannical, but if she falters for even a second.. those kids could take over. Then all hell could break loose!
I guess I'm torn.
I get them. Why not take advantage of the fact that they have the completely unique family? Who wouldn't take the opportunity make all that money? They've got a HUGE family... they're gonna need it.
But I also see the point of the critics. This is their children's lives here. They are in effect, supporting child labor. These poor childres are like child actors.. that never get to leave the set.
I guess it's complicated.
BTW.. does anyone else find it convienent that two weeks before the season premeire of their show a marriage scandal breaks out? And for the entire two weeks leading up to the premiere, they've dominated the news cycle?
I'm just saying.. quite a coincidence.
