long overdue
Being how my last update was in April, I suppose I'm long overdue for a posting of some kind. Things are going well and seem to swing from fast and furious to faster and furious-er.
I'm getting the hang of the whole waiting tables thing and finally feel like I'm making friends with my co-workers. Things got off to a rocky start at the Rocket, but per usual, time has smoothed things over considerably. I'm making decent money, although up to now it's all gone into my gas tank to get to rehearsals in Austin every night. Ahh the life I've always dreamed of!. :-)
Speaking of rehearsals, they're going pretty good. Kind of the same thing there as at work, I'm finally really starting to mesh with the cast and enjoying myself in the process. We move to the park on Thurs I believe so it's about to get..um...HOT. BLAH TEXAS!!!!!
Mom and I just got back from Indianapolis yesterday. We flew there for a 24 hour apartment shopping spree, and I got to meet with my advisor and get all my classes set up. My apartment is waaaaay nicer than what I anticipated I would be living in, but being how I know basically no one, I had to find an apt that rented out by the room so the options were slim...and NICE! I shant complain at all. The gym is two stories...and there's a sauna. Yes, please! I'm so, SO excited about my classes though and to finally be able to do musical theatre. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh
Garrett and I are doing splendidly. He's on the couch asleep right now despite my continual efforts to wake him up and move him to the bed. I've never been so comfortable with someone in my life. He's a pretty swell guy.
