it just occured to me that i have loved you since before

and new paragraphs didnt always suggest
a new thought
since before i even understood language to be fluid and
maleable to those privledged by their understanding
before i really knew the true inadequecy of my language
and the emptiness in my fingers when
its just too hard to find a way to say it.
