on the painful note, i went to get my second of three Gardasil shots today. i don't plan on ever injecting a drug up my arm, but if the event occurs, i predict it to be similar to that shot. a slow, painful burn all the way down to my finger tips.
fuck me. is cervical cancer even that bad? because that shot doesn't seem like it's worth the lack of mobility in my arm for days.
i took anthony around town to get his christmas shopping done today. i didn't intend to buy anything - just be the driver.
damn my lack of self-control. i bought (for me) City of God DVD, and clearance clothes from Forever 21. didn't i make a resolution to not buy clothes? oh well. they're mainly summer attire. i guess that's a good excuse for the purchase. also bought Earth, Wind & Fire Greatest Hits (dad), Jeff Buckley (mom), and Nick Lowe (chris) CDs.
christmas time is always the worst for me. i care so much about the people i love that i can't just buy them one thing. since i have an affinity for even numbers, two gifts for someone quickly turns into four, six, and so on. my bank account remains sad until spring.
now that my hands are out of commission i may just go around the house and pick up a bit. chris is coming home!!!! he has promised to come by, maybe even crash. my room is in a state of disarray, so that needs to be done before i finish the mixes.
