My, my. I never would have imagined that Man-Home use to look liked this, it is quite different from what it ends up becoming. It's rather nice though, it feels as I'm experiencing history now; though technically speaking if I'm here, it probably means I was meant to which means I was already part of it. Strange how that works.

Enough of my rambling ( Read more... )

Oh, I've been there, lovely place!

Quite right you are too, about being part of the events. Time travel's rather funny that way. In any case, welcome to Florida!

Oh! So nice to find someone else who has been there! I really do think it's a place everyone should visit at least once, then again, I feel people should go to as many different places as possible and see as many sights.

It is. A confounding but fascinating thing, time is.

Oh, but thank you. Out of curiosity, in this city are there any particular sights you feel are an absolute must see?

I agree on all accounts, but I'm a bit of a traveler anyway!

Certainly! Like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

I can't particularly say so, although the ocean is lovely. Have you seen Venice, though? I do believe it's the city yours was built in image of.

Really? If you do not mind my asking, where all have you been? What places were your favorites...a difficult question I'm sure if you've been around..

Yup, it in fact was! I have not, yet, though I hope to do so sometime soon. I have only recently arrived and am adjusting to this world so it will most likely be some time before I can. It was one of my primary reasons for coming here.

Welcome to Flamingo Heights, Alicia! My name is Shido, and I teach European History at the university, so I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of each other. I'd be interested to hear more about your homeland sometime as well.

Well it's a pleasure to meet you professore! I'm certain we will and I await the start of classes very eagerly! I still have some moving left to do, and to acquaint myself with the city more but I'd imagine I'll be seeing you there within the week! I'm always happy to talk about Neo-Venezia and having been an Undine there I know a lot about it.

A Gondolier of sorts, I feel is the best way to describe it

I think I shall! Is there any particular time that is preferable for you?

I am quite well! Thank you! And you?

It is good to finally meet a fellow student from the University, I honestly do not know what to expect. If you do not mind my asking, what is your opinion of it?

It is...not as weird as the high school was.

Hm? What was strange about the high school?

Welcome. Your home must be so beautiful, it sounds very interesting. There is an ocean however. I bet you could give some good tours there.

Oh, I find myself having to reel myself in for fear of speaking someone's ear off! I could go on forever about it but I shall refrain and simply say yes, it is wonderous.

I did think about that a bit! I'd have to go out and check how difficult the sailing would be but I'd love to be able to do that, and just take people how for relaxing rides. Nothing feels better than a good song and the becoming one with the wind

That's perfectly fine, I'm a very good listener. You sound like you have lots of wonderful things to say. I bet you have a great voice.

That's a wonderful description, you seem like a person who very much loves being in touch with the world. I think you should look into it. Oh and how rude of myself, I'm Ssasame.

Why thank you very much, it makes me happy to hear. Very happy to find someone who seems so supportive of my vocation, I don't think I could truly ever give it up but knew I'd face trials both in practicality and interest were I to try it here.

I do love reaching to it as much as I can, however I can. Whether it be simply through reading, or even more so to meeting and speaking with new people and seeing new sights. There's always so much more out that to experience and exilerate oneself...I want to touch as much of it as I can.

Oh! It is quite alright, I got carried a way a little myself. Hello Sasame! It truly is quite wonderful to meet you.

It is good to meet you as well. Do you also attend the University?

No, ma'am, I'm afraid not. Though, I may choose to take a few more classes there at some point on some... more specific and obscure subjects.

Hmm. Well they do have quite a large selection, I had to say I was most impressed. But in the end I decided on European History for nostalgia's sake.
