OMG - Torchwood! Beware Spoilers
Sitting on the edge of my fangirl seat.
Jack/Ianto - relationship issues (mainly Ianto trying to figure it all out).
Dialog near the beginning: Ianto (with a bemused smile) "He thought we were together, like a couple. 'You two', the way he said it. 'You two'." Jack (with a raised eyebrow) "Well we are. Does is matter?" Ianto (a bit uncomfortable) "Dunno. It's all a bit new to me, that's all."
Back at the hub - Ianto "She's (Gwen) calling us a couple now." Jack "What's your problem?" Ianto "Just saying." Jack "I hate the word 'couple'". Then walk's away. Ianto looks after him for a moment the - "Me, too".
Ianto is like an uncertain adolescent in his first relationship, and Jack is all cynical and obviouly has some major issues going on. Later on, Ianto comes out to his sister - all embarrassed but wanting to tell her (or maybe just trying to deflect uncomfortable questions about his job).
Other stuff: Ianto's background - his sister lives on a rough housing estate (the Torchwood car gets stolen). Jack visiting his daughter (does that mean he is fertile or is it a step daughter) who is upset that Jack is now younger than her. Rhys and Gwen are househunting - and Gwen is 3 weeks pregnant! Then the hub blows up!
So looking forward to the next 4 days of this. Bloody briliant!
