[The video feed turns on and it's Claire standing in the middle of the street in the market holding a small ball of fluff in her hand. For a brief moment she's still inspecting it curiously, but then she looks into the screen. Her features look confused and she has one curious brow arched up higher than the other.Did anyone lose a furry -- thing

[Castiel isn't looking at the camera; he's currently staring at the two balls of fluff sitting on the kitchen counter.]

No, but I have found two in this house.

[... They don't seem like much of a threat. Still. Paranoid angel here is considering the merits of just smiting and being done with it.]

[They don't seem like a threat, but Claire isn't sure that that is entirely true... yet]

They're... do they seem alive to you?

They live.

And they're kind of cute like a doll or something. I mean, they don't seem dangerous, right?

[At that, Castiel reaches out to, well, poke suspiciously at one of the balls of fluff. It coos.

... So, in the interest of knowledge, Cas does it again.]

They seem rather... inert.

[Right. Now he's petting the thing.]

[She's watching this intently, all the while her gaze moving back and forth between what Castiel is doing and the little puff in her own hand.]

I just had a really weird thought: trojan horse.

[He blinks at the video, then at the fluffball and simply nods slowly. He's not sure why, but suddenly it doesn't seem quite as threatening as it did, even with her comment.

It just coos at him.]

That may be a possibility, though it seems unlikely. Everything this place as given us has been rather sudden and straightforward.

[Zombies and sharktopi had not come packaged in ribbons.]

I kind of want to keep one. Is that weird?

[Then she answers the questions herself.]

You don't? I've never had a pet anything, so I might have romanticized the whole idea.

It seems a very... human thing to do. I, admittedly, never understood the urge.

Vampires do it too. I've seen it... only with spiders which are much less cute than these things.

Have they? I had not noticed such behavior. [A beat.] I have not spent much time around such creatures, though.
