{002} Video
[The feed starts as Alexis smiles; it's genuine but there's an element of uncertainty behind it. Her voice is strong, though, and she's looking straight into the camera.]
Hey, everyone. I know we had some strange going on lately. [She trails off with a shrug and her voice loses some of that certainty.] A lot strange. Uhm. A lot really bad, I guess. Sorry. Uhm. Anyway. [She pauses and finds that note of strength again.] I can't do much to help, that's pretty much a given, but I thought I'd at least try. No sense in not, right?
... Right. Yes. [Somehow, this got all awkward and it's not going away any time soon. Great. Just... great. She sighs, looking a little defeated and hopeful all at once.] I made cookies for anyone who wants them. Lots of them and all different kinds. I'll be taking them down to the guard HQ in about half an hour -- yes, I have permission -- and so anyone who wants something, just stop in. Uhm... there's some cake, too, and hot chocolate and coffee I managed to scrounge up.
I hope everyone enjoys it. [Another pause and a quick smile before she ducks her head and cuts the feed.]
