[ There maybe a distant look in her eyes, and a hesitation that she's not exactly sure what to tell him. Whether to smooth over her concerns with empty assurance or to settle on telling him the truth. This wasn't important in the grand scheme of the Underworld. This would not help to bring them closer to home.

She would not burden anyone unnecessarily, if at all. ]

[ It's been a long time since that day. Longer still since Cloud last saw her father. And while she knows now, for sure, that he had been there for her like he promised, there were still parts of that day that... Tifa wanted to keep hidden away. Even from the one person who could share the turmoil and heartache of losing a home.

Cloud was dealing with enough troubles back then. And there was never a right time to even consider it later on. So Tifa simply never mentioned it. And she was more than happy to hide it away.

That is, until now. There was no denying it now. ]
