[The video opens with Betsy's back to the camera, there's glass sticking out of her arm and blood is pouring down from the open wound. In the background a man with metal wings is quickly closing in on her.]
God damn you. God damn you for taking him from me. [Her words come out laced with anger and pain. The man speaks next, his words devoid of any emotion save for contempt.]
He never felt anything for you. He thought you were a muddle. A distraction. I agree. You are a weak, confused woman with no true identity.
[As he approaches a pink butterfly begins to form around her eyes and it quickly starts growing in size, stretching out as she cries out to him:]
No. I am more than you could ever know. [The form of a butterfly expands, growing larger than her own body, spreading out further and surrounding her with more power than she's ever felt. She unleashes this power on the man, causing him to let out a horrific scream as his body convulses.
He crashes to the ground, his fingers curl in an unnatural position.
Betsy approaches, tears streaming down her face as she picks up some sort of strange looking weapon from the ground. Blood mixes with her tears as she pushes herself closer to the fallen man.]
Now, Elizabeth. Do this. You can do this. You can...[The voice of the man comes out in a raspy whisper:]
You have grown. Not enough. [In an instant he pushes himself up and sends her flying off the top of the platform. Crashing into the ground below. She can't feel anything as she hits the ground and she can't see what's happening around her. The sound of a fight, a struggle in the skies, can be heard, and then she feels him again. She opens her eyes and he's there, weakened and near her. It's her last chance and she knows it.
She's still clinging to the weapon she'd picked up earlier and she pushes herself up. He hasn't noticed her yet, she's able to mask herself from him, and she takes the only chance she has to plunge the weapon into his stomach. He recoils and blood spits out of his mouth as he collapses to his knees.
When the man speaks, his voice is different. There's fear in it, fear and confusion as he looks up at her with tears in his own eyes. She hides her face in her hands, trying to keep from looking at him as he speaks:]
Betsy? I...w-where are we--[He's cut off as energy bursts through his body causing him to scream in pure agony. She collapses along with him, wrapping her arms around him as he falls.]
Warren?
[His voice is weak when he speaks to her, it's almost impossible to make out what he's saying:]
Hurts...hurts so bad...dying Bets...I'm really...[She cuts him off, controlling her voice, forcing herself not to cry, to sound confident in the words she's saying to him.]
No. You're fine. It's going to be okay, Angel. I'm not going to let you die. Just...listen to my voice. Close your eyes. When you wake up...[The video cuts off there.]
