It is a kind offer, but the story behind those events is long and I'd do it no justice. What you saw was an end to a long six years, defined by war, madness, cowardice and slaughter. It was not the end I would have chosen, but it was an end nonetheless.

Oh? My dear lady, my array of interests is expansive. I am sure there is some common ground. Unless you are implying you have nothing but apathy for all things?

[She gives him a skeptical look and there is the very smallest hint of a smile on her lips. It is quickly replaced with her normal blankness.]

I am apathetic for most things, however, you may be right. Even if I am not completely interested I do have a curiosity for foreign things, such as sky pirates and what sort of world one would come from.
