The fire pit is indeed brewing. Now, it roars. It is as though flame is overtaking something vast and great.
The whimpering is less than pleasant. Whatever it is that carries sound from one device to another must surely be rattling.
The tablet is dropped.
Something hard hits something else hard
the fire roars
there is whimpering
and then, a strange, shriek of a howl
And all is quiet. Feed is not dead, but there is nothing there any longer.]
