[When next she speaks, there's a smile in her voice, though] I have the feeling things'll be a little more challenging without him around.

I... hate to bring this up so soon, but -- do you run in the same kinds of circles as Harry? The whole wizarding business, I mean.

I'm curious about the Dracula kind. I've picked up the book and everything, but all I've really gotten from it are that in terms of defense against him, only the traditional methods work -- and at the risk of pissing him off.

I guess I was hoping there'd be something else.

Well, I don't know how similar he is to Blacks in my world, but master vampires can mentally enslave humans. They usually use them as meat-shields.
