The not being dead part. [Or, well. He is dead. Sort of.] Wasn't expecting to still be around.

Well... some people have come here after they've died. It is the Underworld, after all. A lot of us are still alive, though. So either way, it doesn't necessarily mean very much.

Think of it as a glorified cell phone? --Assuming you know what that is; not everyone who comes here does.

All of us were all brought here like you, because of the war between Hecate and Hades.

The short version is, according to Hecate, Hades lost it and wants to wipe out reality. Hecate said she brought us here to distract him, and hopefully stop him.

There are also a group of people called the Apportioners who have gotten involved, but nobody knows much about them yet.
