She's pale (once again), flushed (as if with fever, but it's not), and still a bit out of it. She's also sitting in the clinic, propped up on pillows, and the stubborn line to her mouth shows she's not letting whatever this is get the best of her.

Thanks, Mr. Reynolds, but...it's not really so much a matter of privacy as not wanting to...disturb anyone. Here.

The splayed form of the woman Mal was just speaking to is laid out on her bed in a very vulnerable position. A thickly haired creature - well muscled and almost werewolf looking is poised over her, its gaze on her prone and helpless form ( ... )

I think I'm going to post something up in a few days when I'm feeling better - to let people know there's something like this around. Maybe someone else knows what it is.
In the meantime...Nate and I will keep reading. The library has a lot of books - there might be something there that can point us in the right direction.
