'Organics'? Are you a synthetic person?

We were brought there to stop Hades from destroying reality. Or at least that was the original purpose, but things have gotten a little more complicated since then.

We are manufactured, yes.

As unfortunate as the destruction of the known universe is, we were already on a mission to save it with Shepard-Commander.

I'm sorry that your mission was interrupted. When you go back, it should be to the same time that you left, so you don't need to worry about what's happening in your world while you're here. Unfortunately, we're all stuck here for now.

There is a guide that covers everything we know so far about the situation here. I'll forward a copy to you.

My name is Minako Arisato. It's nice to meet you.

Then we anticipate returning to the Normandy and its crew. Preferably sooner, rather than later. It's of the utmost importance.

We are also grateful for the data Minako Arisato has provided. Unfortunately we have nothing in exchange for this data. However, We do have an inquiry.

Ask anything you want. I can't promise I'll know the answer, but I'm happy to help if I can.

These points of data don't tell us how we arrived in the first place. Is it possible that you know these answers?

I don't think I can explain it as well as you'd like. We know that Hecate brought us here to distract and stop Hades, but we don't know the details of exactly how that's accomplished. Both of them are supposedly gods, so they have the power to do things that wouldn't normally be possible.

I'm sorry I can't explain more clearly. There's a lot about this place that I don't understand myself.

[After a few minutes, which is quite a bit to ponder:]

The explanation is appreciated, even if Minako Arisato is unable to bring more understanding to our inquiry. The ideology of "gods" is one we are not unfamiliar with, but as of yet never had proof of such beings existing.

We accept this as reason enough until more information can be gathered.

It's new to me as well, but I suppose it isn't any stranger than believing that there could be alternate timelines or worlds, and there's been plenty of proof of that since I got here. Hopefully someone will come up with a better explanation sooner or later.

You don't have to use my full name all the time. You can just call me "Minako." Or "Arisato," if that would be too personal.

What's your name?

The designation of others seems highly dependent on the individual's preference. Which does Minako Arisato prefer?

We have been designated as Legion.

[She'd really intended to stick to text - it seemed polite, since that was Legion's chosen method of opening communication in the first place - but now instead of something resembling Aigis she's left picturing the Persona of the same name, and it's a little much to end up stuck with as her mental image of them if she can help it.

So Legion gets a teenaged girl smiling brightly at them via video.]

Just 'Minako' is fine, Legion-san.

We do not need an honorific.

[The media shifts with it; Legion used text largely to protect from themselves, and the odds of having people freak out? Decidedly slimmer.

Meaning screen full of flashlight headed robot.]

From here on, we acknowledge this organic entity as 'Minako'.

[She's visibly surprised at their appearance - but curious, rather than appreciably put off. Before long the smile is back.]

It's only polite. But if you don't like it, I'll leave it off.

[Interested headtilt.]

It isn't a matter of like or dislike, it's fact. If you feel you must be that extensively polite, we will not stop you.

We are curious of your friend.

[They are used to V.I.'s, constrained to certain programming. Geth have seemed to be the only exception, though that isn't exactly a surprise...]
