These demons are familiar to me from my homeland.
If you're facing one, it's imperative that you not listen to anything they say. They're adept at finding and exploiting weakness, and not above letting their prospective victims believe they've gained the upper hand.
Once manifested, they can be physically harmed, but they are extremely powerful, both physically and magically. Don't underestimate them, and if you're capable of summoning aid, don't fight them alone.
Anything that can negate their magic or drain their ability to cast spells will weaken them. They're low on other particular weaknesses, with the exception of rage demons. Those are creatures of fire, and as such, cold harms them greatly.
