I'm Sebastian. I'm not sure if we share the same religion, but if you'd like to talk to me, you're more than welcome.

Oh! Then you'd be the person some have told me about. I hear you have some sort of chapel? I'd like to visit it if I can and we can probably talk?

Aye, I do. And of course you can visit. I'll be right here 'til you get here.

(ooc: Action tags okay?)

Thank you. Oh, my name is Kurt by the way. [There's a smile to his voice.] I can be right there.

[Kurt ends the audio transmission and holds onto the tablet as he then teleports to the market place. He hasn't really had time to properly look around, so he feels a little nervous, although his confidence comes back as he sees the chapel. He walks up and knocks on the door lightly before entering.]

Sebastian?

(OOC: Action is fine :))

You're welcome, Kurt.

[He's rather shocked at how quickly he arrives. Granted, he knows some very fast people, but this is a bit beyond even that. He opens the door for him, and can't help but ask about it.]

Um. Hello. How did you do that?

[He has to admit that he's impressed by the fact there's no recoil straight away. He smiles and tilts his head.]

I teleported here. Or more accurately...about ten feet away and walked the rest.

[He's led a very strange life.]

Really? Can you do that all the time? How does it work? I mean, if you don't mind me asking?

[action] wunderbarbamf June 23 2011, 20:42:09 UTC
Course I don't mind. I was born with the ability but didn't know I had it until I was in my teens. I can do it all the time but eventually I get tired.

[He thinks you're a type of mage, now. Hope you don't mind.]

And to think I thought myself skilled for my archery.

[Better than a demon. It was old before he got here, it's...still old.]

Well, you'd be more skilled than me. I can shoot an arrow, that's about it.

[Demons seldom seek out holy places, for one thing.]

Sometimes, that's about all you need.

I'm assuming you want to talk to me about something more immediate than this?

[That's true. When the change of subject comes about he fidgets and rubs the back of his neck.]

I understand that you're a man of religion, I've been told our belief's may be different but it's hard to know unless you find out, right? I'd rather us both know what our beliefs are before I go making confessions.

I...hope that's okay?

Perfectly understandable, really.

[Think think think.]

Well, I belong to the Chantry. We believe in the Maker, who created our world and is thought to have abandoned us, and his prophet, Andraste. Andraste's teachings are collected in the Chant of Light, which we follow in the hope that we can convince the Maker to return.

[His shoulders drop slightly and he chews at his bottom lip a bit.]

I was afraid of that. Different beliefs I mean. [Though what Sebastian spoke about sounded so interesting.] So the Chant of Light is like the Bible then, scripture?

For me, it's the Roman Catholic Church and God.

More or less, yes. It tends to be sung aloud, and the whole of it is very long so it gets split into various sections.

How does the Roman Catholic Church work? [If it's different, he might as well find out more about it.]

[He takes his time to describe what his own religion is like. How they have hymns and praise God, about the Bible and confessions.]
